A fully automated central warehouse covering over 65,000 square meters is being built in Bad Oldesloe, which will supply around 150 Asklepios clinics throughout Germany with medical goods in the future.
Thanks to state-of-the-art technology from the Quickborn-based company SMB, all quantity requirements, from the size of a container to small packages, will be easily covered and supply security guaranteed.
The ground-breaking ceremony, which was also attended by Dipl.-Ing. Hans-Jörg Steffens, Sales Manager SMB International, marked the start of the largest and most modern central warehouse for medical products.
