Repalletizing with Sliding Pallet Changer
All types of cartons, trays and large containers (drums, canisters, etc.) can be repalletized using the transfer method. The pallet changer can be used to transfer goods fully automatically from wooden to aluminum or plastic pallets – or vice versa. It is used for the classic exchange of production and shipping pallets, or for palletizing under cleanroom conditions in the pharmaceutical and food industries, where hygienic separation of goods handling zones is required.

Functioning
With the help of side walls and a sliding wall, the pallet changer gently pushes the load onto a packing sheet that is divided in the middle. The new pallet is already located under the packing sheet. After positioning, the packing sheet is slowly pulled out from under the goods, thereby securely positioning the load on the new pallet.
An empty pallet magazine automatically supplies new pallets. The empty pallets are fed to the changer and removed from it again via roller conveyors or lateral chain conveyors. Load securing can be carried out on the pallet after the production chain, for example with automatic stretch film or strapping.
