Our company is based in Quickborn - just a few minutes away from Hamburg. The town is located in the district of Pinneberg. It belongs to Schleswig-Holstein, the real north. You can reach SMB, for example, via the federal highway 7 between Hamburg and Neumünster (BAB exit: Quickborn-Heide) or the federal highway 4. A large company parking lot is available. You can get to Quickborn by train via the AKN railroad line. In addition, several buses from the Hamburg transport association also travel to Schleswig-Holstein. And our city is continuously expanding its cycle paths - perfect for getting here by bike.
Your monthly salary is based on the pay scales of the metal and electrical industry. We pay you 12.5 salaries per year.
You can work full-time or part-time with us. Depending on the position and department, we also offer flexitime - so you can decide for yourself when you start and finish work. We also welcome mini-jobbers and working students. We would be happy to inform you about the different working models in the individual departments at SMB and find the right model to suit your everyday life!
If you work on machines in our industrial departments or are currently installing intralogistics components, it is difficult to do this at home. But where and when it is possible, we enable you to work from home. It is best to clarify your options directly with your department head.
Compensation is important. At SMB, we therefore offer you more vacation days than required by law. With a 5-day week, your vacation entitlement is 30 days per year.
