Your profile and your strengths:

  • Completed technical studies, training as a technician or industrial clerk with a strong commercial flair and initial professional experience in sales
  • Ideally initial or several years of previous knowledge in the field of conveyor technology, palletizing or high-bay warehouse technology
  • Confident handling of the PC, MS Office programs, Autocad Mechanical 2020 (2D knowledge is a prerequisite)
  • Class B driving license
  • Existing training in a metal profession is advantageous in order to be able to better estimate the effort and times involved
  • Good written and spoken English skills are an advantage and round off your profile

 

Your tasks:

  • Independent quotation and order processing based on existing customer inquiries and orders
  • Independent preparation of quotations and layouts (installation plan of the systems), together with superiors and colleagues in the case of major project inquiries
  • Acquisition of new customers, support and independent clarification of customer requirements in the field of intralogistics
  • Solution-oriented support for customers in their projects from the initial idea to the conclusion of the contract
  • Advising our customers by telephone, mainly in Germany, occasionally also international customers
  • Close cooperation with the project team and specialist departments (sales support)
  • Preparation and implementation of project handovers to the project team
  • Planning and carrying out customer and reference visits.
  • Participation in 1-2 logistics trade fairs per year

 

Location:

  • At the SMB location Quickborn or from the home office in central or southern Germany
