Automation is often associated with high-bay warehouses. However, it is worth getting started with the fully automated storage of pallets from just a few hundred pallet spaces. We have developed a compact two-mast storage and retrieval machine for small and medium-sized companies. The AS/RS enables fully automated intralogistics for pallets from just 150 pallet spaces or in confined spaces in small warehouses or low warehouses.
Low approach dimensions, maximum storage capacity
The compact two-mast storage and retrieval machine from SMB impresses with its particularly low approach dimensions. This means that significantly more storage levels can be achieved on the same room height - up to eight levels and nine meters top edge storage height. The integrated lifting carriage brings pallets to the desired level. The wireless CAPtriever pallet shuttle transports pallets in channels up to 25 meters deep. The structure of the compact pallet warehouse can be adapted to the customer's requirements in terms of article variety and performance.

In combination with the CAPtriever Shuttle, the two-mast storage and retrieval machine offers a solution for smaller automated storage systems with lower capacity, with only the most necessary conveyor and safety technology. 150 to approx. 2,000 storage spaces are realistic.
